Hello there Doreen,
Hope you are all ok, it's Helen Swift here,
(Lynn's daughter). Just wanted to let know how the first off many fundraising events went. In the school assemblies on Thursday and Friday I delivered a presentation with the help of a fellow charity committee member, to launch the sixth form's chosen charity and encourage as many of them as possible to take part. Friday break time, we held a very successful bake sale and then at lunchtime a disco for the lower school. Both events were highly supported by the school and with the help of staff, students and prefects all ran very smoothly. We raised an amazing £180 which I am very proud of and feel is a great start to many more successful events. I have included some pictures from the events, I am the one wearing a blazer all of the time. |
