Results from our mental health and well-being survey

Feb 8, 2021 | Charity, Latest News

Today we are extremely proud to share with you the results of our first-ever mental health and well-being survey.

For 2 weeks in January 20201, we conducted a survey across all of our social media channels, looking for information on how survivors of necrotizing fasciitis and those bereaved were treated on a mental health and well-being basis.

Survey Results January 2021

We have long-since suspected that upon leaving hospital, patients are not given information on the long-term effects of NF or of how or what type of help and treatment is available.

Unfortunately our survey results were no surprise and we now have the quantitative data to start to put together a white paper on mental well-being after NF, which was the objective of the survey. We are working with medical experts and will carry on keeping you all updated.

We are extremely grateful of everyone who took the time to complete the survey, and tagged other people in our posts across social media, to further the reach of the survey.

Thanks to all of you.

With love as always,

The Lee Spark NF Foundation
