So exciting to share that Jacqui Dimmock is taking on the Prudential RideLondon! 46 miles – phew!
Jacqui is taking part in Prudential RideLondon 46 to raise funds for prostate cancer and necrotising fasciitis/ severe streptococcal infection, two causes that have unfortunately hit close to home.

She said “I want to support Prostate Cancer UK and The Lee Spark NF Foundation, to raise awareness and ensure that vital research of these conditions can continue.
Three of my family members have been affected by NF and severe streptococcal infection, two this year alone! Thanks to quick acting medical teams, they survived. NF takes hold quickly and can be fatal but by increasing awareness of it, hopefully a greater number of people can be saved. I hope the money I raise will help Dee and her amazing team continue to raise awareness and provide support for survivors and families affected by these conditions.
Unfortunately, a family member was also diagnosed with prostate cancer within the last year. The scariest thing was that there were next to no symptoms and it was only due to a doctor checking something out “for safety” that it got picked up. Prostate cancer is known as a silent killer and now I know why! Thankfully, advances in research have meant that his treatment has not stopped him doing all the things he loves, he is still able to do the gardening… when the weather allows!! I want this research to be able to continue.
Any contributions to support these causes would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. xx”
