Robin’s amazing fundraising continues!

One of our incredible survivors, Robin Grant (a 5 year survivor of NF) set himself an impressive target this year. He wanted to raise money for us here at The Lee Spark NF  Foundation by doing at least 2 10k runs and a half marathon.

Robin explains “I set myself a target of £1000, which I managed to reach and exceed before my final run. Then, this week I found out that my work might put something towards my fundraising, as they do look after us workers and actively encourage charity work. So, I applied and got a bit of a surprise when I received an email from Virgin Money telling me that my work, Arnold Clark, had matched my sponsorship with a £1000 donation. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for that, and they did look after me while I was recovering from NF. They made it possible for me to work closer to my parents until I was ready to go home to Inverness.”

Thank you so much Robin, for all your hard work and fundraising for us!
