We at The Lee Spark NF Foundation are passionate about supporting survivors, bereaved and their families who have suffered from necrotising fasciitis, commonly referred to as the ‘flesh-eating disease’; through listening to you for the past 18 years we understand many survivors have terrible issues with scarring after their experience.
As part of our ongoing aims we are able to support you further and we are proud to offer a new and direct service to a fantastic charity named ‘Changing Faces’. They have assisted many people, including some clients who have been affected by necrotising fasciitis and they would be happy to support more people affected by this terrible disease.
They offer support through their counselling/emotional support and skin camouflage services.
The skin camouflage service provides consultations with a trained practitioner to find a colour match for your skin tone from an array of specialist products. The practitioner will then teach you how to apply the products yourself and provide you with a prescription to take to your GP.
To find out more about this FREE service for UK residents and how to be referred for skin camouflage please visit their website at https://www.changingfaces.org.uk/skin-camouflage
All of Changing Faces’ services are free although donations are always gratefully received.
